I have a real soft spot for debut albums - and this one is no exception. A real and candid glimpse into Vin's early musical endeavors. Most tracks are decidedly lo-fi, tentative demos, and while some veer into completely unrelated genres (The Welshman), most of the music on show seems to retain the same mold and feel of a Red Vox album, albeit without the budget and polyrhythmic drumming. The ambient solos are also extremely impressive for a debut. jizzyjazz-

who up headin’ on back to reno!!!
seriously, i love this album. my intro to red vox and the cornerstone of their discography IMO. refining their style from WCGW and adding that more dreamlike sound you’ll find in their later stuff, it’s a very nice mix of everything this band’s got up their sleeves. in short, ayy i love-a da red vox rushlaunch
